Looking for some relaxing free fun? Why not check out our open mic – the last one scheduled for Friday October 28th from 9 to 11 pm. Don McHale, our head chef, has been organizing the evening, and has been able to attract some really good non-professional musicians, who come to play just for their love of music. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the old coffeehouse days, with folks of all ages supporting their friends and family who come to play.

The Gallery Cafe shares its space, a rambling old farmhouse with Gallery 529, an artists cooperative with more than 30 artists. One can view gorgeous paintings, photos, pottery and jewelry – it is a great spot to buy a gift for that someone special. Now, with the addition of music, we support all the arts! Culinary, literary, visual, and now, musical!

The Gallery Cafe is a new restaurant located in Littleton, MA. It is conveniently accessible, just minutes from both routes 495 and 2, with ample private parking. Initial reviews of the restaurant have been exceedingly positive due to the delicious food prepared by renowned local chef Don McHale and his experienced crew. The Gallery Cafe is a unique venue in that it shares its space, in a rambling old antique farmhouse with Gallery 529, an artists cooperative featuring the artwork of more than 30 emerging artists. The other day, member artist, Mary Lou Eshelman, and owner of the Cafe and Gallery, Virginia Wood, were given the wonderful opportunity to speak with Museum Open House host Jay Sugarman.

Oh, man, am I hungry!

Chef Don has not cooked us Eggs Benedict yet, but this is what it should look like…though, picture some fruit salad to go along side.

The last couple of days have been spent tasting the future menu items. Yesterday, Chef Don treated Liz, Max,  and me to a couple of his appetizers, salads, and roasted chicken entree. All I can say is, Littleton and surrounding communities, you are in for a treat! Between the beautiful ambiance we have been creating, and delicious food, patrons will be wondering how they were treated to city quality dining in the burbs!

Today, we finished the brunch menu. I am sure we will be tweaking it as time goes forward, but, I love brunch, and I can’t wait for April 5 to arrive!
